Last month I had the pleasure to shoot for a lovely brand called Bloom and Blossom. We worked on a Mothers day gifting campaign for them, in the run up to the big day.

I had never heard of Bloom and Blossom before, so it was lovely that they had found me. Once I looked up their company I was so happy with what I found. Two amazing Mamas had set up a company of gorgeous natural skin care products for mama and baby. This was perfect for me as I truly love to work with brands that I support ethically. I think I would find it difficult to blog and support a brand I didn’t believe in.

Julia and Christina are instantly likeable from the moment you meet them. They are Mama’s just like us and also sister in laws, who have set up a business that works around family life. They saw a gap in the market for a natural skincare range that contained “no nasties” and went for it. Its so inspiring to hear their story, as many mothers struggle with a happy balance of work  / home life. Going for that dream of having a happy balance can happen, it just takes a little courage and hard work.  These two are living proof, and working with them was so easy.

Bloom and Blossom do a fabulous gift range, which I had the pleasure of trying. The ‘Night -Time Ritual Trio’ is a lovely little gift box for any Mama. It contains a lovely pillow spray which I absolutely loved! A night-time dry body oil and a lovely shower gel. I used all three  before I  went to bed, and It was like falling asleep in a spa. The lightly fragranced products weren’t too ‘heavy’ – a lovely balance of frankincense , chamomile flower and  linden blossom soon had me drifting off into a lovely sleep. Such a lovely treat. you can shop for this little box here, they also a do a lovely gift set for baby  that can be found here . As you know my children are not babies anymore, but I loved using this gentle product on them, reassured that it was all natural.  

Below are some shots we took for the campaign, we had a fun filled day shooting lovely Caroline , who has now had her baby – Congratulations Caroline. Little Miss C was an amazing little child model and was so co operative all day. As most of you know Im a children’s photographer and most children don’t last for more than 45mins. Little Miss C was a superstar. 

It really was a fun filled day, of photography, giggling and getting to know the most awesome mums. I love the Bloom and Blossom brand. They are natural products for mums , made by mums ( in Great Britain), you really cant get any better than that in my book! you can have a look at their shop here
